From 10 till 17 April 2024 Dancetourist/Alma de Tango presents in cooperation with
Sabrina & Ruben Veliz a Tango holiday to the beautiful El Puerto de Santa Maria/Cádiz, Spain.
An entire week full of sun, sea, fun and loads of Tango!
Therefore we’re excited and very proud to announce that
Sabrina & Ruben Veliz
will make their appearance and provide us with fantastic Tango workshops and a show throughout the week.
During a Tango holiday we see our holiday makers showing real improvement in their technique quite quickly. But of course is such progression possible because you go to bed with Tango and get up with Tango again! Every day after breakfast and before dinner our Tango professionals will provide an outstanding workshop.
In addition to that we’ll arrange a Milonga every evening in the hotel or we’ll go if possible to some wonderful Spanish milongas in the area.
During the week we’ll also have a day off from all the classes. This day can entirely be spend how you see fit. It’s your vacation! Quality relaxing time on the magnificent beach or strolling into the beautiful city of Cadiz to get a good taste of the stunning cultural heritage. It doesn’t matter, as long as you enjoy yourself!

3* Hotel Puerto Bahia & Spa
You will stay at Hotel Puerto Bahia & Spa in the authentic Spanish village of El Puerto de Santa Marie, with several beautiful beaches, 9 km on the south of Cádiz. You can reach Cádiz in 20 minutes by train, bus or boat. Hotel Puerto Bahia is located by the sea, separated by a pleasant promenade with restaurants. There is also a mini golf, Spa with indoor pool and a large outdoor pool with terraces and gardens. In the hotel we have a private dancing room with a beautiful view and wooden floor.
Stay includes 7 days half board (breakfast and dinner incl. water and wine).
Workshop Schedule tango holiday
Every morning after breakfast and every evening before dinner
Argentine Tango workshops are given by one or both of the above teachers.
Every evening there is a Milonga which is also very nice due to the participation of a large number of Spanish tango dancers from the area.
On Saturday we visit if possible a Spanish Milonga in the area.
In total there are 10 Workshops per person including technique lesson. The Tango course is aimed at two levels from intermediate to advanced/Professional.
