From September 30 – October 7, 2024, Dansvakanties/Alma de Tango organizes a Tango holiday to Valencia in Spain in collaboration with Stefania Colina, Juan Martin Carrara, Mirella & Carlos Santos David and Lorena de Miranda Serra & Jory Raimo. A whole week richly filled with sun, sea, beach, fun and of course an abundance of Tango!

More information about the teachers? Click here! During the Tango holiday we see our dancing holidaymakers make significant progress within one week. It makes sense, because you go to bed with Tango and you wake up with Tango! Every day after breakfast and every evening before dinner a Tango workshop is given. In addition, we visit a Tango salon every evening at Dansschool Linea de Baile or Tangoschool La Cultural.
During the week we also have a day off from all the workshop violence. Of course you can spend this day entirely as you wish. After all, you are not on holiday for nothing! Relax on the large, beautiful beach or dive into the city to taste all the cultural splendor that the wonderful city of Valencia has to offer. It doesn’t matter, as long as you enjoy yourself! The Tango holidays of Dancetourist/Alma de Tango are known for the extremely pleasant, open and friendly atmosphere that prevails there. The Tango is of course central. In addition to learning and dancing the Tango, a lot of value is attached to conviviality and having fun together in a relaxed way. Be honest, a holiday without fun is no holiday, is it? 4* Hotel DWO Valencia
We will be staying in a luxurious, but atmospheric and in January completely renovated 4* hotel close to the beach and the cozy harbor. Public transport and some of the most important sights of Valencia are close by. The hotel is fully equipped. Including lovely spacious rooms, luxury bathroom, air conditioning, internet (free WiFi access) 400m2 garden around etc. The Argentine Tango workshops will be given in a dance school in the same street as the hotel. We have a beautiful room with wooden floor and air conditioning completely at our disposal all week
Workshop schedule tango holiday – Dance school Linea de Baile – Tango school La Cultural
The tango workshops and a number of salons are given in the Linea de Baile dance school. We have a beautiful room with wooden floors and air conditioning completely at our disposal all week. Linea de Baile is a few hundred meters walking distance in the same street as the hotel. The schedule for the holiday is as follows. Every morning after breakfast and/or in the afternoon and every evening before dinner, Argentine Tango workshops will be given by one of the above teachers. During this week we will also collaborate with Tango school and salon La Cultural. We will visit their atmospheric salon this week. The school is within walking distance of the hotel. All salons are well attended and very pleasant, partly due to the participation of a large number of Spanish tango dancers from the area and in combination with our group of course ;-). In total there are 10 workshops per person including technique lessons. The Tango course is aimed at two levels from intermediate to advanced/Professionals/teachers. Register with dance partner! About Valencia
Valencia is located on the Costa del Azahar on the Mediterranean Sea and on the Turia River. The city was founded in 138 BC by the Romans and is considered the birthplace of Paella, one of the most famous dishes from Spanish cuisine. No mass tourism in Valencia, but the real Spain. Beautiful beaches, a wonderful Mediterranean climate, many bell towers that adorn the city everywhere, wonderful affordable restaurants, a wealth of museums, art galleries and a vibrant nightlife.

In Valencia there are many possibilities to dine deliciously. On the beach, the harbour, the historic city centre, around the corner from the hotel there are several restaurants that we can recommend. The prices vary from € 10 per menu incl. consumption to as high as you want to make it yourself of course. It is clear that excellent and pleasant dining in Valencia does not have to be expensive at all.
